While trying to install the UXP version of our plugin. Some users can get the error code-2 in the Creative Cloud App.
This error is not related to the UXP file but to the permissions of your system.
One of the solutions which is working for most of the users is to right click on the .ccx file you get from us and select from the menu: Open as-> UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent
If you can't see the "UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent" menu. Choose manually:
This will install properly the UXP Plugin on your system.
Here is the official Adobe forum post about this.
Some users on the Adobe forum report that copying the .ccx file to the “Downloads” folder and then installing it from there works. The issue is related to the disk permissions.
Some other users with OSX Monteray report:"The fix I have found is to Uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop App, download it again from Adobe, reinstall it and this seem to fix it."
Another fix which is working for some users is to copy the .ccx file to the desktop and run it from there (not the entire folder).
If you still have the issue, some users suggest to add to the Apple Privacy and Security preferences (Complete Access to the Disk), the Creative Cloud App and also the Photoshop app. This is why we say, sometimes this issue is realated to your system permissions.
If nothing of above works, contact Adobe support since it's an Adobe issue and not the ccx file issue.
If you need assistance, just contact us or open a ticket.
